Warranty and Returns


We're proud of the quality of the products that we provide however appreciate that at times things don't always go to plan.  When considering warranty and refunds, we apply the following:


Warranty


Tank 5 Year Warranty


Tank Mechanical Failure (splits, cracks. leakage, sizing):

  • As tough as our tanks are, we can only provide warranty against mechanical failure if the tanks have been installed as per our installation guide.  Tank failure due to lack of tank support/ bracing, drilling out holes, drilling new holes, any tank modifications or physical impact is not covered under  warranty.
  • Superficial surface imperfections occur as part of the tank manufacturing process and are not covered under warranty.  Gouges (>2mm deep) are covered under warranty if these occur prior or during delivery.  Gouges that occur post delivery are not covered under warranty.
  • Physical tank dimensions can vary +/- 1% due to seasonal variations at the time of manufacture.  Tank size deviations inside this variance are not covered under warranty.
  • The average tank wall thickness is 8mm some variation will occur within the tank.  The warranty does not cover wall thickness variations.


Tank Odour or water taste

  • All our tanks are crafted with food grade polymers and do not affect the water or liquid stored in the tank.  The warranty does not cover for any odour or taste once any water or liquid has been placed into the tank.  Refer to our user guide for tips to ensure your tank stays in top condition.   The warranty will cover any odour from a tank prior to the addition of any liquid. 




Other Items


Damage during delivery 

We we warrant any damage that occurs up to the delivery of the item to our customer.  If your item is damaged on delivery please contact as early as possible (we'd appreciate it if you could let us know within 2 working days) so that we can organise  a replacement.  Our warranty does not cover damage to an item post delivery (ie. damage due to it being dropped/ stepped on/ hit, damaged during installation or due to poor installation)


Item to performing correctly

We warrant against abnormal operation as per our suppliers warranties.  Please contact us if your item is not performing correctly and we'll work together to find a suitable solution.


Not covered under warranty?

If you have purchased a tank or other item and have an issue that isn't covered under our warranty, please contact us and we'll do our best to support you in finding a solution. 


 Returns


We are committed to our 100% right guarantee.  If the item that you've purchased isn't exactly what you were chasing we are happy for you to return it to us.  This guarantee requires:

  • The item and associated packaging must be returned in the same state that it was provided.  Unfortunately we are unable to accept returns on items where the original packaging has been ripped, torn or damaged in any way.  The item must also be the same condition as it was at the time of sale. 
  • The purchaser is responsible for postage/ shipping costs back to Decked Out Auto.  Decked Out Auto will only initiate a refund once the item has been received.
